POEM : "A Foolish Heart"
When tears fall from my eyes,
With a silent crash they hit the ground.
I search for comfort in the skies;
I look for you but you’re nowhere around.
I thought that wishes made Dreams come true,
So I started to believe in you.
In my every breath, there’s a prayer for you and me;
That the love we share might one day be free.
At times I’ve cried at our distance apart,
Seeking my solace in the unity of a heart.
Oh! That fate can be so cruel and yet so kind!
Why must the one I love be so hard to find?
I eagerly await the promise one golden day,
Where in my heart you’ll promise to stay.
But maybe my thoughts, my Dreams are too much;
That magic to me is to you an empty touch.
No, don’t say it; I’d rather live with the lie
Than to see my Dreams slowly die.
