POEM : "One Life to Live"

A million troubles
And your heartbeat doubles.
You're only a little girl
Taking on the world.

With a picture perfect smile
You hide the pain.
You've been doing it quite a while
But how long will it remain?

With Fate you stand side by side
You act like the leader of a mighty band.
Not needing anyone
Free falling alone, you think it's fun.

Living on the streets
You say it's no treat.
You've been to the skid row
And that's how you know.

Growing up has been tough
And longing and yearning is never enough.
But little girl, don't give up the strife
Because only you can live your life.
