The next generation:

Recently, there has been a new addition to the family and apart from the resurgence of Life within the house, we young ones are slowly getting to find out what our parents went through having to raise us.
It is such a huge responsibility having a baby to raise, and I often wonder HOW it is that the young children today could give up their life and youth just for one night of wanting to feel all grown-up. That is what our society has come to presently: children raising children. It is a sad state of affairs, and I personally think it's a very big part of why the "next generation" behaves in the manner that they do.
There seems to be a blatant disregard for authority and there is an indescribable breakdown in discipline. Blame seems to be aimed at everybody except the parents! Some measure of responsibility should be enforced on families so that there IS some accountability for the way people raise their children. If they cannot control them, then there is a simple solution: DON'T have another one until you master the process!!! It's high time the government in this country get their act together and actually start working for the exhorbitant salaries and perks they rake in each month!

[ In the meantime, I'll not hold my breath for them to actually "start working" because that presupposes they KNOW what the word means, and even I know that is asking quite a lot from grown men whose only talent it seems is throwing teacups and engaging in fracas. Hmmm... coming to think of it, these "grown men" make villainous soap opera women look good! ]
