** Untamed Spirit
Wild horses running free
Spurred on by the spirits that let them be.
Wind-blown manes fluttering in the breeze
Rhythmic trodding of hooves made with athletic ease.
Air-born lasso flying with a prayer
No man shall tame them - no man shall dare.
Hearts thumping, dust flying
Cowboys trying, constantly sighing.
Through this land they shall always run wild
Nature declares it - She protects them like a child.
Sadly though, greed and power will win the chase
Man's domination is prevalent in every place.
No more fields to run wild and free
Only burdens to carry tirelessly.
Freedom ends, but Nature shall have Her say
Patiently she awaits Man's reckoning day.
