ANDRIY SHEVCHENKO

Andriy Mykolayovych Shevchenko was born on September 29th 1976 in the Ukraine.
He played for Dynamo Kyiv then moved to the Italian giants in 1999. He wears the #7 jersey for both Ac Milan and the Ukranian national team where he plays as centre forward.
In 2004, Pele also named him as one of the best players alive, and he won the Player of the Year award in the same year.
Andriy's son, Jordan was born on November 29th [just thought i'd mention it since the date is well.... you know.... same as mine :D]
In an interesting episode of SportsCentre, he talked about how Americans call their football "soccer" and stated that Europeans should call American Football "soccer" in return! **here! here! I soooo agree with this!**
Sheva too has won many titles in his career, unfortunately however, he is now in talks with Chelsea and a move to the Premiership now seems imminent :(
