Sexiest Footballers ... #1 on MY list :DD
ALESSANDRO DEL PIERO
Born on November 9th 1974 in Conegliano, Italy he started his career with Padova in 1991 in Serie B. In 1993 he moved to Juventus and has been with the Turin-based club since then. His nickname is Pinturicchio.
In October of the 1998/99 season, he picked up a serious knee injury against Udinese, and since then, has never played like the pre-injury Del Piero. It was clearly obvious in his return after that injury he was a bit "too" cautious lest the injury worsen or worse, he pick up another similar one. Since then, we have only seen glimpses of the Alex we know.
He wears the #7 for Italy and the #10 for the Bianconeri and plays a combination role of Striker and deep lying Forward.
His accolades are numerous and he deserves his place in the Football Hall of Fame, should there be such a place!
Some of his Titles and awards include:
7 Italian championships
4 Italian Supercups
1 Coppa Italia
1 UCL
3 UCL runners-up
1 Intercontinental Cup
1 Intertoto Cup
AWARDS:
U-21 European Footballer of the Year
MVP of the Intercontinental Final Award 1996
Best Italian Player Award 1998
Best Overall Player Award 1998
UCL Top Scorer 1997
UCL Top Scorer 1998
Most Popular Italian Player Award
Most Charismatic Striker in Italy 2001
UCL 10 years Jubilee Poll: Best Attacker
Best Goalscorer of Juve of All Times 2006
Because of his mannerisms, charming and innocent smile, not to mention his good looks, I pick ALEX as my #1 sexiest footballer!!!!!!!
